Remember our first soap, the famous “Big Ben”. In 1958 our famous Buttercup margarine came onto the scene and eight years later we broke fresh ground by producing cotton seed oil. The Olivine brand has been used and loved for over 80 years and this is why we have high levels of customer loyalty.
Our well-loved range grew to canned products: baked beans, tomato ketchup, soups and various other condiments into the range after Olivine was purchased by Heinz in 1982.
Following the exit of Heinz in 2007, our strategic relationships with industry-leaders Cottco continued to the current day where they enable a secure supply of locally sourced cotton seeds and soya beans to our manufacturing plant.
Today our maintenance, quality control, audits and production are ISO 9001:2008 compliant which underpins our corporate mantra:
